About Us
The Minority and Veteran Farmers of the Piedmont (MVFP) is a 501(c)(3) grassroots nonprofit based in the rolling foothills of Virginia’s Piedmont region. Founded in July 2019, MVFP creates educational and experiential learning opportunities through hands-on instruction. We promote training, coaching, and mentorship for minorities, veterans, farmers, and urban and rural youth to build a more equitable and resilient food system.
