🌾 #ThrowbackThursday to the 2026 Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference!

Earlier this year, MVFP's own Sarah Morton had the honor of serving as a keynote speaker at the Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference, joining women leaders from across the country to discuss the future of agriculture, food systems, and rural communities.
A third-generation farmer from Central Virginia, Sarah shared her experiences supporting local producers, advancing food equity, and creating opportunities for the next generation of agricultural leaders. From helping launch the Lulu Food Hub to championing youth agricultural education and community-based food systems, Sarah's work continues to demonstrate the power of collaboration in agriculture.
We're proud to see leadership from Virginia represented on a national stage and grateful for the opportunity to share the mission of Minority & Veteran Farmers of the Piedmont with agricultural advocates across the country.
